Pricing & terms

Can I try Frank before topping up?

Yes. You create a free account and get €10 in starting credit. Use it to call Frank internally, build your call script, and hear exactly how he sounds. Only once you want to call the outside world do you top up the €499 minimum - because a test on real customers only produces real numbers if there are enough calls behind it. Even faster: the free test call. Enter your number, Frank calls you.

What can I do with the free account - and what not?

In the free account you set your agent up completely: build the call script, pick a voice, call Frank internally, and keep refining until it fits. That's what the €10 in starting credit is for. What you can't do: place calls to the outside world and connect your own phone number. Both unlock with your first €499 top-up.

Why not just start with 50 leads?

Because a test on real customers only means something if there are enough calls behind it. 50 conversations give you a gut feeling, 500 give you numbers you can decide on. Internally you can test Frank as long and as often as you like - when you go outside, go with volume, so the result is actually worth something.

What does Frank cost, and am I locked in?

Frank works like a prepaid card: you top up credit and pay only for the time actually spent on calls - billed by the second, 36 cents per minute. To start you top up €499 once. No subscription, no minimum term, and your credit doesn't expire. Sales has months at full throttle and quieter months. You call when you have the need.

When do I start paying?

Only once the conversation starts. Ringing costs you nothing, unanswered calls cost you nothing. Billing runs by the second from the moment someone picks up - a 40-second conversation costs you 40 seconds.

What does a call that hits voicemail cost?

If Frank lands on voicemail, he detects it and bills only 3.6 cents per minute - a tenth of the normal rate. Since he usually hangs up after a few seconds or leaves a short message, what's left in practice is a fraction of a cent. Contacts you don't reach won't eat your budget.

What do test conversations with the AI cost?

18 cents per minute, half the normal rate - for every account, not just at the free start. That way you can polish your script thoroughly without practice costing as much as real calling.

How does the credit work?

Like a prepaid card: you top up an amount in euros. Your call minutes, the phone number (€15/month) and voice cloning (€99) are deducted from it. You always see your real remaining balance - no abstract points system. As long as your account is active, it doesn't expire.

What's the minimum top-up - and why is there one at all?

The first top-up is €499, roughly 1,386 minutes of talk time. It unlocks outbound calling and your own phone numbers. The reason for the floor: a test on real customers only means something once there are enough calls behind it. 50 conversations give you a gut feeling, 500 give you numbers you can decide on - and we want you to know after launch whether Frank works for you, instead of guessing. Testing internally costs you nothing beforehand. After that you top up any amount you like, whenever you like.

Is there a volume discount?

Yes, and it comes as extra minutes: for €1,999 you get 6,448 minutes instead of 5,552 (effectively €0.31/min), for €4,999 you get 19,996 instead of 13,886 (effectively €0.25/min). And the bigger you grow with Frank, the more hands-on service you get on top.

What does Frank cost compared to an employee?

Frank is billed by the second - you pay for talk time, not for the hour including downtime, breaks and ramp-up. No salary, no payroll taxes, no workstation, but available around the clock and scalable at will. Across your whole call volume the cost base is far more predictable than an additional hire.

What makes Frank different from other AI calling providers?

With most other providers you get the speech engine - and build the rest yourself: the follow-up logic, the callback scheduling, inbound return calls, the calendar and CRM integration, the reporting. That costs you either your own engineering time or an agency, and in the end your sales pipeline hangs on a construction nobody maintains. With Frank the complete sales logic is included and ready to run. So you're not comparing the per-minute price, you're comparing what actually runs end to end, from dial list to booked appointment.

What does a custom voice cost?

Cloning a voice is a one-off €99, deducted from your credit. After that Frank calls with your own voice.

Are prices net or gross?

All prices are net, plus statutory VAT.

What Frank delivers

What's the appointment rate?

Blanket appointment rates don't mean anything. They depend so heavily on your audience and your offer that any number we quoted would be wrong for half our customers - we're a SaaS provider, we don't get to pick who signs up. What we do see in general: on any single call Frank doesn't reach the rate of a good salesperson, because he doesn't argue his way through the hard cases the way a human does. In exchange he runs a multiple of the conversations and reaches more people, because he follows up consistently instead of forgetting. On balance our customers report a similar number of appointments - just out of far more calls.

Does outbound calling with an AI actually work?

Yes - if the expectation is right. Frank is first contact at scale: he calls the list that's been sitting on your desk for weeks, finds out where there's real need, and hands the conversation over warmed up - with an appointment, or with everything you need for your own call. What he isn't: the rep who turns a hard no around. You do the closing, that's exactly what he's built for. What decides whether it works is your offer: if it's relevant to the people you call, conversations happen. If it isn't, the best human caller in the world won't save the campaign.

What happens when nobody picks up?

Frank schedules his own follow-up and calls again - how often and over what period is up to you. On voicemail he leaves a friendly message the first time and never again after that. This is where most of your appointments come from: the first call always happens, the follow-up is what falls through the cracks in daily business. Not with Frank.

How many conversations can Frank handle at once?

Several hundred in parallel. A list that takes your team two weeks is done in an afternoon with Frank. In practice, what limits you isn't the technology - it's your own capacity to take the appointments.

Can Frank handle inbound calls too?

Yes, in the same account. Frank picks up, answers the common questions, and books appointments - including when someone calls back after a missed call. In that case Frank already knows what it was about.

Can people tell they're talking to an AI?

Some do - and that's intended. We have no interest in deceiving anyone, and the EU AI Act requires you to disclose it anyway. What bothers people isn't the AI voice, it's a call that holds no value for them. That's why we use normal everyday voices instead of perfectly polished studio ones: too perfect sounds like a radio host and gives itself away instantly. If what you're calling about is relevant to that person, the conversation almost always continues.

A lot of people say: “If an AI calls me, I hang up.”

People hang up because of a call that holds no value for them, not because of the voice - exactly the same is true with a human. If your offer is relevant to that person, they'll talk. Two things are still true: conversations with an AI run a little shorter on average, and on any single difficult call Frank won't match a good salesperson. In exchange he is genuinely good at qualifying interest cleanly, and he does it at a volume no team can sustain. That's precisely why our customers report more appointments on balance, not fewer.

Customer success stories
What if someone asks outright whether they're talking to an AI?

Frank says so and carries on with the conversation. In practice that's rarely the end of it: people get more concrete and stay open to the next step, as long as it's clear what this is about.

How natural does Frank sound?

Frank answers in just under half a second, lets you interrupt him mid-sentence, and responds to what is actually said. On response time we're faster than any other German-language provider. Judge it yourself: enter your number, Frank calls, 30 seconds of effort.

Setup & tech

Do I have to set all of this up myself?

Your call. The platform is built so you can set Frank up yourself - there's an onboarding academy with more than ten videos walking through every step, plus the full documentation. The heart of it, the call script, is written for you by our system anyway: based on the learnings from several hundred customer projects. If you'd rather have someone alongside you at the start, take the €899 top-up. Then we set up the first agent together and walk you through the first weeks.

Do I have to write the call script myself?

No. You drop your existing phone script into the prompt generator, it asks a few follow-up questions and writes the finished script from that. Behind it sits the experience from more than 300 prompts we've written for customers from small trades businesses to enterprises - including which phrasings actually work with an AI.

How do my leads get to Frank? Does my CRM work?

Three ways: upload a CSV or Excel, a native integration like Pipedrive, or our open API - which connects to practically any system, including home-grown ones. Frank writes results back the same way. Starting with an Excel file is perfectly fine; you can add the integration whenever you like.

What data does my lead list need?

The phone number is mandatory. Everything else makes the conversation better: name, salutation, company - plus any custom fields you like, such as where the contact came from or what they last asked about. Frank picks that up during the call, and that's exactly what decides whether the call feels personal.

Which number does Frank call from?

However you want it: we get you your own number for €15 a month, or Frank calls through your existing system - Sipgate, Placetel and the like connect directly. What matters is the right area code, because a familiar region noticeably lifts your pickup rate.

Can Frank book appointments straight into my calendar?

Yes. Frank checks your calendar live, offers three suitable times, and books the appointment. Connected are cal.com, Calendly, Microsoft Bookings, HubSpot, plus Google and Outlook calendars. Alternatively Frank transfers the call straight to a colleague or agrees the best time for your callback.

Can I control when and how much Frank calls?

Yes, completely. You set the calling windows, the number of attempts, and a daily minute limit. That way you match the pace to what your calendar can absorb - and can turn it up whenever you need more appointments.

Does Frank get better over time?

Yes, and you see exactly why. You pick real conversations, say in one sentence what should go better, and get concrete change suggestions for your script - accept or reject, done. No separate reporting, no studying prompts.

Legal & data protection

Are calls made by an AI even legal?

The same rules apply as to a human call - the fact that an AI is speaking changes nothing. Whether you may call someone depends on what consent that contact has given: in B2B a legitimate interest is usually enough, in B2C you need consent. So depending on where your list came from, the assessment differs. On top of that comes the disclosure duty from the EU AI Act. Which of your lists you may approach and how is something we go through together during setup.

Do I have to disclose that an AI is calling?

Yes, the EU AI Act has required it since August 2026 - and Frank does it out of the box. The disclosure isn't in the first sentence, it comes right after: “Quick note, I'm the digital assistant at …” That keeps the opening natural and makes your call AI-Act-compliant. The line is already built into every template.

Is the conversation recorded?

By default only transcribed - which carries no disclosure requirement. If you also want the audio recording, you switch it on and Frank points it out at the start. Either way you can listen back and read back: every conversation sits in your dashboard, so you always have the full picture.

Is Frank GDPR-compliant, and where is my data?

Our entire infrastructure runs on Azure servers in Frankfurt, so your data stays in Germany. We provide the data processing agreement, recording can be switched off, and you decide which fields ever enter the platform. The same rules apply to calls as to human ones: legitimate interest in B2B, consent in B2C.
